The policeman got Emil information and the thief information. Then the policeman took Emil to see the chief detective that he was a pleasant man. He listened to Emil's story and then gave him back the money. The door opened and fore repeaters came into the room. The chief detective shook hands with them and told the story of Emil and the thief.

At last he went to his grandmother's house. Emil rang the bee. The door opened and his grandmother was standing in front on him. She kissed him, pulled his hair and said "Emil you wild boy! We have heard some very strange stories about you. His cosine wanted to play bicycle with Emil. When they had been playing, the policeman came and asked about Emil. They went inside the policeman was happy of him and he gave him some money gift. His cosine said we should invite the boys for tea. Emil said but first we must invite my mother.

Emil's mother wanted to go to the city, she rode the train and a man was sitting opposite of her. The man was reading a newspaper. Suddenly she saw something on the front page. She cried" this is my son". She took it and read it. When his mother arrived to the city, she met her son. One hour later Emil wanted to have tea with his mother and his friends.

Early next morning, the thief looked out of his window and saw a lot of boys playing. The two boys who were angry about each other the met next to the hotel and they decided if the thief come out all the boys are going to follow him. So when the thief came out all the boys were around him and he tried to walked quickly but the boys were faster than him and the boy were asking about the money, so the man felt nervous.  He went to a bank and tried to change the money, but the boys said don't change it, because this money has stolen from my friend.  The thief said to the banker to believe them. Emil came and said "see this money have a hole from my pin". The thief was nerves, so he tried to escape. But the boys who were out they caught him. Then a policeman took the thief with him to police station.

When the man went out from the cafe, he took a taxi. The boys also took a taxi and they said to the taxi driver "follow that taxi". As soon as the first taxi stopped in square at the door of a hotel. The thief and the boys got off the taxi. The thief went into the hotel and the boys were waiting him and thinking what are they going to do.  At the same time Emil's grandmother was worried about Emil.  The thief took room in the hotel and the boys were talking what how can the catch the thief. Two of the boys were angry to each other, because both of them had different idea.

When Emil saw the man got off the tram, he followed him. Then he saw the man go into a cafe. There was a house at the corner of the road.  He went there and watched him.  Suddenly a horn sounded just behind Emil. It was a boy and the boy asked Emil "are you from here?" Emil answered no "I'm not from here and I'm busy, because I'm watching a thief. Emil told the boy everything and the boy decided to him. The boy invited his friends to help Emil.

Emil wanted to visit his grandmother, aunt, and cousin in the city. After he had dinner with his mother, she told him "you will meet you grandmother at a sing says EAST STATION" and give him some money to his grandmother.  She said to him put the money in your pocket then put it inside your jacket to be safe.  Later he took a bus and went to the station.  Her mother bought a ticket for Emil. Then the train came into the station.  Emil kissed his mother and climbed into a carriage with his case.

Emil sat opposite a fat lady and there was another woman sitting to the right of the man with the big nose. Also there a man was sitting next to Emil with black hat. Emil was feeling uncomfortable of a man who wears a black hat, so he put his hand to his pocket to check about the money. One hour later the train stopped and at a big station.  The tow ladies and the man with the big nose got out. Now Emil and the man with black hat were alone. Emil wasn't very pleased about this.  He was worried about the money, so he wants to washroom to check the money and put pin to hold the money. When he came back, the man was sleeping.  Then Emil tried to don't sleep but he couldn't. When he woke up, he couldn't find the money.  The train stopped.  Emil looked out of the window and saw a sing on a wall. It's said WEST STATION.  The man got out form the train and Emil followed him.

The man walked into the station square.  He crossed the road. An electric tram with tow carriages turned into the road from the right got into the first carriage and sat down next to a window. Emil ran after the tram. The tram started moving as he reached the second carriage.  He jumped on the tram. Emil’s grandmother and his cousin were waiting for him at East Station for long time but he didn't come.

When Emil saw the man got off the tram, he followed him. Then he saw the man go into a cafe. There was a house at the corner of the road.  He went there and watched him.  Suddenly a horn sounded just behind Emil. It was a boy and the boy asked Emil "are you from here?" Emil answered no "I'm not from here and I'm busy, because I'm watching a thief. Emil told the boy everything and the boy decided to him. The boy invited his friends to help Emil.
